Provided by YPmobileThis was our first year going to Bishops this fall and we absolutely loved it! I loved the family farm feel! They have tons of activities for the kids. We cut Sunflowers, Took a ride on the train and carousel, mined for marbles, and my daughter did the slide area for a while they have really fun slides. You do need tickets for all of those things and they do accept cards. Some attractions were closed because we visited the farm after a stormy weekend the corn maze was one of them I'm excited to go next year when it's open to try that but we didn't feel we were missing anything there was still plenty to do! They have a bakery that is amazing and very busy so try to go on a weekday! We tried the apple cider which was delicious also and they sell lots of food and have a gift shop. Oh wear shoes that are good for a farm and walking around in specially if it has rained they will get muddy. This is defiantly a place we will visit every year now.

Provided by YP.comBishops is a family favorite! The crowds can be discouraging, but if you can sneak a day after school during the week is much more enjoyable.

Provided by YPmobileBishops is a great place to spend the day with your family, especially if you have young kids. They have hayrides, large pumpkin fields where you can cut your own, pig races, corn maze, kid train, petting zoo, food, gift shop and more. However, over the years this place has grown so if you don't like crowds try to go during the week. Not everything is open but it's still an enjoyable day.

Provided by YPmobileFor the past 3 years, our family has come to Bishop's in October. This is definitely a family friendly place, but geared mostly towards kids. When we visit, we come on the weekday, where the parking is FREE and not as busy as a weekend. There are lots of FREE activities for the kids to enjoy- singing chickens, wooden fortress, big treehouse with slide, petting zoo with option to feed the animals , barn with corn pit and another slide and a digging pit just to name a few! Yes, there are also attractions where you will need to buy tickets, but again on the weekdays it is cheaper to do these activities and a much shorter wait time! The paid attractions are the train, corn maze, sunflower walk ( it's actually free if you don't want to pick your own sunflower!) and Coyote Mountain- which has a humongous slide that lots of kids seem to enjoy ( mine were a little too small to try) .
The highlight of the place is that you can take a hayride out to the Pumpkin patch and pick your own!

Provided by YP.comSo much fun! There is lots to do for all ages and the food is great! The only downside is going on the weekends because it can get very crowded and that is not fun.

Provided by YP.comBishop Pumpkin Farm is lots of fun for the kids but it is expensive. If you go during the week parking is free. Parking on the weekends is $15.00 per car (used to be $10.00). Most activities cost and the prices have gone up. Be sure to bring lots of money.

Provided by YP.comDecades of family tradition died with my last visit to Bishops. We arrived to find the parking raised to $15. Most 'attractions' you now need tickets to 'enjoy'. The tickets are .99 plus a Wheatland tax. To go through the corn maze cost me over $18 for me and my two kids. Bishops losts its family farm charm and it a total corporate gimmick. I have been going there for the last 28 years, as a child and now with my kids. This year was my last year.

Provided by YP.comWorst service on earth! We booked a school field trip after reading the "hamburger farm offerings on their website. When we arrived following a 45 minute drive the owner stated that the train wasn't operating (which is the first thing advertised on their website). Instead of offering credit towards the already expensive 10 dollar tickets, she handed us a handful of train tickets that could be used later. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, she could care less. Essentially they charge $2.60 for a train ride and refused to offer credit (rudely I might add). None of our parents wanted to make the long drive back just to redeem one train ticket. I feel like they misrepresented their offerings, showed horrible service when our dissatisfaction was brought to their attention, and certainly did not care one bit that this transaction would certainly influence our decision to come back. They are rude, offer horrible service, and have clearly gotten too big for their britches. My advice- find a nice mom and pop farm that cares about the customer and not just the money. We will never return to this place. I hate poor service and rotten, unconcerned ownership.
