This is an amazing veterinary hospital. The staff and veterinarians are all extremely professional and courteous. I feel very lucky to have such an amazing team helping me with my pet's health care needs. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you Birch Lake!

You know you'd hit pay dirt when your pet enjoys going to the vet. Every time I take Sadie to the vet, she actually walks into the office under her own steam. She responds beautifully to the vet who treats her with respect and love. Everyone there is "pet lovers" and it's obvious. I won't go anywhere else.

Great clinic, great docs and staff.

The vets at this clinic don't try to stay up to date with the latest medications and procedures. We were told by one of these vets that our dog had days left to live and that we should put him down. In tears we asked if there was anything at all that could be done and he said there was absolutely nothing we could do to prolong his life. He even said if it were his dog, he'd put him down because it was the humane thing to do. We went to another vet and discovered that there ARE treatments for his condition and many months later he is with us and has his health and energy back. We could have missed out on all this precious time with our dog, who is unbelievably happy and full of life, if we had just taken this guy's word for it. Either he thought for one reason or another that we didn't need to hear about these treatments or he just didn't know. I'd opt for the latter. There is no excuse for a practicing doctor to not keep up to date on things that could mean life or death for their patients. As a side note, the exam rooms are TINY. With 3 people and a dog, you can barely move around at all. We had been going to this vet for 4 years and every time we are in there, we felt rushed to get out. The vet interrupted us when we spoke and didn't really listen to what we had to say. He only cared about what he saw and thought he knew. Our dog could have been diagnosed months beforehand had the vet just listened to what we were trying to tell him rather than rush us through the conversation to get the next patient in and maximize his paycheck. We will NEVER go to this clinic again.
