I am echoing everything my wife has said about this company. I only wish I had the option to rate a 0 instead of a 1. See below...

Everything about this company is a sham and rip-off including the owners post about himself. He claims to be a native of Nashville but a quick search on the internet shows Thomas F. K. recently moved here from Wisconsin and had previously owned a heating and air business there. The business failed and based on our experience and the other reviews it is obvious why. Our a/c stopped working on July 19th. We were assigned Assured heating and cooling through our home warranty company. They came out July 21st and told us we needed a new compressor. Even though they had the part early am on July 24th Assured kept pushing the install date back. The home warranty company then informed us the the install was now pushed back until July 29th. My upstairs reached 99 degrees and my main floor reached 94 degrees. They informed us they not work weekends (except commercial accts--Saturdays 8-12) -even during extreme weather conditions. Buyer beware of this company. The office employees are rude and the young man that came to make the diagnosis was discourteous. They do not return calls and we had to call the home warranty company to get updates. Based on our experience so far, these reviews, and the reviews of Assured on BBB- we took the advice of another reviewer and went we Precision Air. We called Monday and they installed it the next day. Such an easy pleasant experience-Assured could learn a lesson. Precision Air has top notch customer service. Mike, Mark, and Rick were a pleasure to work with. Thank you Ted W. for the recommendation.

I only used them because my home warranty company assigned them to me. I explained that my AC was out and that I had a 2 year old and a 5 month pregnant wife and the heat index was scheduled to be over 100 for the next week....this was on a Thursday. After coming out to say "never worked on this model, I'll be back tomorrow between 12-4 with someone who knows these models" they left. Next day at 3 they had not called so I called their office, only answering machine and I left a message. At 6:50 that night my wife's phone rang and I missed the call, it was them saying they were 10 minutes out on her voicemail, I tried to call back but the call went to a voice mail that was not setup. So I spent Saturday and Sunday with unbearable heat and cranky kids/wife. Monday I called them at 0830 and the lady said she would find out what happened and "call me right back." Well, 2 hours later I called and she said "the techs said you were not home" to which I cried foul and she put one of the techs on who told me that if a customer does not return a call in 10 minutes they do not come out. I explained that I returned the call and it went to voicemail that was not setup and he said "yea, Steve's phone does that sometimes." I explained that was not a very good business model abut was willing to let it go but I asked when they would be here and they said " sometime tomorrow afternoon" at which point I fired them and paid out of pocket to have my unit fixed the next day. Stay away from this company and do not use "Old Republic" for your home warranty if you live in Tennessee/Nashville area. Heed all of the other 1 star reviews...I only wish there was a 0 star setting.

I will never use this company again they came to my house 3 different times and it took the third time for them to fix the issue. Then 4 months later the same problem came back and they were still trying to charge me to come and fix something they didn't install right from the beginning. They just want to get money out of you and not guarantee their work. I'm honestly very upset with this company because I paid my money and I expect things to be fixed and not continued to be charged for something that's not my fault. They even kept sending the same guy that couldn't even figure out what was wrong with my unit to fix saying he was one of their best workers and he honestly doesn't know what he's doing.

This company is my go-to heating and air conditioning company. I have gotten to know the guys through the years and have them perform regular maintenance on my unit so it will last forever. The team is polite and don’t track mud in or use your restroom. When it is time to buy a new HVAC unit, I plan to buy a York from them. I don't hesitate recommending them.

My dad called this company when our air conditioning unit was shaking like a blender on the pulsation setting. The hvac tech simply added some hardware and we were good to go. Company was affordable and honest in their diagnosis. We are now considering a new York ac unit and purchasing from them.
