Started in 1988, Western Veneer & Slicing Company (WVS) serves as a manufacturer of wood veneer. The firm specializes in the western pines, ponderosa and sugar, along with all other domestic and foreign softwoods as well as hardwoods. It caters with a wide range of products made up of various species of wood, such as black walnut, cedar and cherry, Douglas fir, hemlock, knotty pine, lyptus, mahogany, maple, oak, ponderosa / sugar pine, redwood and many more. The firm also has two Diehl splicers allowing for production of veneer sheets for architectural panels in all species.
