White Pine Elementry needs to be totally overhauled. The staff with the exception of very few doesn't need to be there. This is not from an angry person who did not get their way. Just a very concerned parent who sees that the welfare of the children is not a priority at this school. There is not a program for special needs children worth mention about. Why? Because they don't want them. It is a shame when you live a town for your whole life and not get the education for your child that she or he needs or deserves. The staff like I said for the exception of very few is power hungry over most of these children. I understand that you have your trouble makers, and you need to take care of them, but the way this school is run you have to wait till something drastic happens to get anything done. The state needs to come in White Pine School and clean house!!!! I see the way things are being handled as being very lazy. Every child deserves the chance at an education. Isn't that the reason we are paying them. Not just for them to be there for a pay check, and getting to have the summer off. But to have a chance at life. To feel that no matter the size of the task they need to feel proud of themselves and the accomplishment they have earned. Just because you are a child doesn't mean you never forget. I didn't.
