I would give ZERO stars if that rating was allowed. I have never been treated in such an unprofessional manner. This is the 1st and last time I will ever step foot in that store. I brought my Bulova watch in for a battery change since the watch was losing time. The person who took my watch claimed that he did not think the battery was the problem and he would have the actual repairman, who did not appear to speak English, assess the watch and call me back. When I received my call, I was told that the battery was not the issue. It was the "connector" to the battery, which I'd never heard of before. In essence, they were charging me to fix the "connector" and since the watch was open, the battery was changed. So they charged me $48.60 to fix my watch. Although I believed I was being overcharged, time is money, so I just told them to fix it.

When I came to pick up my watch a few days later, I noticed that the date was incorrect. After closer inspection, I figured out that the time was 12 hours late. Since when do you go to a watch repairman and they return the watch with the wrong time?! And it adds insult to injury that I was unnecessarily overcharged. If I had to pay almost $50 for a battery change, the time should have been correct down to the second. I have never received a watch back from other establishments with the incorrect time. That particular day, the repairman and the original greeter were not present and there were two cashiers. I had to TEACH them how to read my watch. My watch is not that difficult. It has the main face and 3 smaller faces for the hour minute and seconds. Why am I teaching people who work at a jewelry store how to read a watch??? I ended up leaving the watch for the repairman to fix it.

When I came to pick it up today, the time was still 12 hours off. And the initial person who took my watch was arguing with me as if I'm wrong. He yelled at me, walked away from me to see another customer as I was mid sentence and at first swore the time was correct. When I pointed out that on the 24 hour clock, 0130 is 1:30pm, he seemed to not understand. Once again, why am I teaching people how to properly read watches in a jewelry store that has signs up in the front claiming to fix watches and change batteries? Then had the audacity to tell me that he cannot fix the watch and that I would have to read my manual to fix the time. I know HOW to fix the watch, but I should not have to fix the time when this is supposed to be a fine jewelry repair shop AND I was charged almost $50. I have taken my watch to MACYS and th Tourneau store at other malls for the past 8 years that I have owned the watch and I have never had it be returned with the incorrect time. And rather than admit to the mistake, the person I spoke to was extremely rude, combative, and at the end, refused to complete my service. I am so disgusted.
