Splendid Taxi

I usually like Splendid Car Service. However, this particular cab & driver is substandard. Car is old and should be taken out of service. Most of their line are new cars. Also the cab driver was on the phone the ENTIRE time of the ride!!' Not to mention he was LOUD and DIDNOT use a headset!!! Now isn't that illegal in NY?? Good thing we weren't in an accident.
Not a good way to end my traveling day.

I took Splendid on 3 separate occasions. 2 were from my house to the White Plains train station, and one to my house from the White Plains train station. First time the fare was $5.80, second fare was $6.60 to the station. On a return, I had to share a taxi with two others. The return trip to my home was $8.00. Very disappointed in the fare structure and the fact that I had to share a taxi. The driver was rude when I asked him why it was so much more and he said lady that is the fare. I called the company and they said that all trips should only have been $6.60. Too bad they don't post the zones somewhere so that a client doesn't get ripped off. Next time I use them I will ask what the fare is.
