Ptarmigan Village is a quiet community, nestled in a cedar forest, on the SW slope of The Big Mountain. We are located only a few minutes from Whitefish Mountain Resort that has year round activities for skiers, boarders, bikers and hikers. Located only 35 miles from Glacier National Park, we are a great location for staging your NW Montana adventures. Our amenities include:a new pool building that includes an indoor salt water swimming pool, a large outdoor hot tub and a dry sauna. Next to the pool building is a playground for children. In summer, our outdoor pool is perfect for relaxing or you can take a drive down to our beach on Whitefish Lake where you can take a swim and revel in a gorgeous sunset. Hiking is right out your door with 52 acres to roam. We have two newly resurfaced tennis courts if you want to get in a game. Elmer's Pond is stocked with trout each spring for children to try their luck. We have a variety of one, two and three bedroom condominiums for rent and also offer RCI exchanges. We have a beautiful Alpine village setting and condos that were crafted in the 1970's and 1980's - most have been updated to provide wonderful accommodations. PLEASE NOTE: all condominiums have stairs or spiral staircases to the bedrooms and lofts (if equiped). Also note that during the winter you are advised to have all-wheel drive, we plow our roads daily, but you will encounter winter driving conditions this close to the ski slopes! A laundromat is situated in the center of the village and wifi is available there and at the indoor pool building.
