What began as a business of immigrants selling goods to the workmen on the railroad in rural coal country Pennsylvania, changed to selling army and navy surplus after World War II, and changed again as an outlet for function goods of the times, has been reinvented into a store that provides outdoor gear and clothing product, selection and value for consumers from all walks of life.
