One star is a bit too much for thr review im about to write. This review is for the golden spa and nails which is a branch of nail division in the same lehigh valley mall.. both places belong to the same owner. I hope she reads these reviews because if she only knew how her employees treat the customers, she would dedicate more time educating them. I go to golden spa 3 times a month and i always felt like these ppl are moody. Sometimes they are frindly and just wanna chitchat and other times they dont even smile once in your face. I have never in my life left a negative feedback or thought i would ever go through the hassle, but today, i was left in tears at the salon and it was the worst experience i have ever gone through at a service shop. These employees treat you like you are invisible, today they treated me like an animal. The manager of the salon is called Yoe he is a old man who is dominated by the women who work there. He cant manage them, or the appointments or their attitude. I took an appointment for 1:30 came at 1:20 there was a woman waiting before me.. the next employee was vacant at 1:30 so the woman who has been waiting started before me which was okay because she was fairly waiting. Then, at 1:50 the manager decides to take off my gel polish by himself. He made me soak my fingers in acetone and went away to do a phone call for 15minutes. The acetone kept getting warmer my fingers and nails were so dry i took my hands off after 8 minutes. Then he sits down and tries to scrape the Polish off and took away the top layer of my nails with it ..in every nail.. one of my nails broke in half and he saw i was in pain so he told me to soak again. He has zero training or experience in doing nails otherwise i wouldnt have had my nails scraped off.. and then the girl who works there starts yelling at me rudely saying that i shouldnt have taken my hands off the acetone thats why the polish dried on my nails and i got so furious and told her that he shouldnt be doing it and that he left me to soak my nails and went to talk on the phone when he was supposed to sit infront of me and scrape them while they are soaking. Tw0 minutes before i soaked my nails a customer walked in and was waiting for her turn..that mean very arrogant and bad behaved employee then told that customer to sit so she could do her nails.. so i asked her i was here before and i have an appointment 30 minutes ago.. she replies so rudely "your nails are not soak how am i supposed to take you" YOUR FREAKIN JOB IS TO SOAK MY NAILS AND PEEL THE POLISH OFF .. then i asked the manager that anybody just come and take the polish off i want to go home.. so he asks another employee infront of me and she shakes her head and screams at him as if i was a wild dog that she wouldnt want to touch or service. .the same minute a customer comes in and that same emplpyee who shook her head on me said "hi Donna 5 minutes and ill be with you" what a mean team working there who lack discipline and professionalism i was so furious and hurt i started crying and the manager kept saying sorry sorry..SORRY FOR WHAT? FOR NOT MANAGING YOUR EMPLOYEES? FOR NOT BEING PROFESSIONAL? FOR TREATING ME LIKE AN ANIMAL? i reported the salon to the simon mall management and i immediately took the owners number and left her a voice mail. . My next step is to publish my experience at every media outlet there is in this area and i wont stop until i personally speak to the owner... i work at macys executive office and i have never in my life seen a horrible customer service pass by the way it just passed with this salon. .
