Took vehicle in to get it inspected. I had brakes/rotors changed 3 months prior. Mechanic asks me why I was at that location and not a location closer to where I lived....why is that relevant? Then starts asking me more telling me I need an emissions sticker...when clearly I do not. So that was a waste of 20 mins. Mechanic mic's my brakes to measure the thickness and tells me the rotors are too thin for my car and it will not pass offers to check what they have in stock. I asked him if he realized it was an s model. He did not read the paperwork with the car. He then shows me the inspection books provided by sears....that are from 2009-2010. Really sears? I knew you were in financial trouble for a while, but you can't even provide mechanics with up to date information? They did not have the s model in the book. 40mins later he tells me "I went above and beyond checked the website for you and the brakes pass." I looked up previous reviews of this location and every car that comes in for inspection all of a sudden needs brakes. Maybe they can add a flux capicitor next time too. Pretty unethical!
