I was recently in a bind with a chainsaw that quit on me. So I looked for a repair store in my area and came across JAM. I read the reviews and the comment before mine didn't really match with the preceding very favorable comments. After talking with the owner, I felt that would try their shop. Outstanding service, next day turnaround, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would not have a problem bringing any piece of equipment to these guys.

4 months I have been waiting for a warranty repair on a Husqvarna pressure washer wand. Dennis Tippie, owner of JAM really doesn't care and continues to feed me BS. Going to court. This is what I get for trying to do business with a small local company. And they wonder why they eventually go out of business while blaming the consumer. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS AND DENNIS TIPPIE / JAM. Maybe the name stands for you will be jammed up the butt.

Wow! Talk about small town service! These guys are the best... quick, friendly and very reasonable service. It was actually fun having my chain saw and string trimmer serviced! Guys are friendly, dogs are darling and the price was too reasonable!!!! Will definitely continue using them.

These guys are great. It is nice to have a Husqvarna dealer right in town that will take care of you. They always have the commercial grade equipment that I need to run my business and their prices are fair. I always recommend JAM to everyone looking for new outdoor power equipment or repair!

My snowblower wouldn't start and JAM proved to be a great local option. During a busy period (just after the first real snow of the 2011/2012 winter season) they were able to diagnose and fix it the same day. These are decent guys and I felt like they treated me well in terms of service, cost, and advice.

Early this summer we had our generator, a chainsaw and rototiller repaired by JAM. We are definitely a very satisfied customer and extremely happy that JAM offers services beyond our expectations such free pick up and delivery, fast reasonable estimates, and excellent technical advice. They also previously found us a durable sump pump for our basement. I recommend JAM services to everybody knowing they are trustworthy, professional, and very knowledgeable in their field.

I have been to JAM a few times to get my items fixed. I don't feel like a customer there, I feel like a friend, Larry and Dennis make you feel very welcomed when you walk into the shop. They are very knowledgable on equipment and getting it fixed for you. Other shops you go into, don't take their time explaining what needs to be fixed or what they can do, they want you in and out and NEXT. Not at JAM, they explain everything, and take their time with each person, I would recommend JAM to everyone!!

Great people. Free pickup and delivery, and they look after what they sell. And when your equipment comes back - it is spotless. My Mantis works better than when I first bought it. Don't go to the impersonal, no service big box stores. Buy and service your equipment at JAM's!

I have to add another review. I had a belt go on my Toro mover during a leaf collection adventure on a recent Sunday afternoon. We called on Monday morning, they came picked up the mover, changed the belt (which required the removal of the rear tires) and returned it to my house - all that very day! You can't beat that! Thanks Larry and Dennis. It pays to support small business!

I would tell them to use someone else. They "fixed" our mower, it didn't work after getting it back. They came to the house and checked it while we were gone, said it works, sent us another bill. It still doesn't work.

We repaired two push mowers for this family. Picked up and delivered at no cost. The problem with both mowers was old fuel and hydraulic lock. It looked and smelled almost like diesel fuel. We cleaned the fuel tanks, carberators and made adjustments so when they were delivered they ran fine. The first time they called they said the mower at the campground would not start. We went to the campground primed the mower as per equipment instructions and the mower fired right up and ran fine and they were satisfied. The next call came a few days later stating that the one at home did not run. We went to their trailer and upon proper starting procedures it also started right up. We then went as far as to mow a 12'X12' area so that when they came home they could see that the mower did infact run and worked fine. About a week later they brought the mower from the trailer into our shop stating that it never ran. They were upset that a bill was sent to them. We told them that we did not charge them when we went to the campground and thought that since the secound call was not warranted that we could not continue to absorb cost because of customers lack of knowledge in being able to follow proper starting procedures. The first thing we did was pull the fuel bowl and found contaminated fuel. We cannot control the type of fuel our customers put in their equipment. We can only suggest what they need to do to keep their equipment in top running condition.
