Panache has a lot to celebrate! A tribute goes to their patrons that have loyally supported this growing business the past 26 years. On a regular basis, Panache gives back to many of the charitable organizations that are near and dear to their clientshearts. Every year or so, the staff get together and host a day-long Cut-a-thon/Spa-a-thon to benefit a local charity or group. All their time and talent is volunteered without question! Panache has supported their local Fire and Rescue which are both volunteer, Hope Cuts, a national foundation to benefit those battling cancer, aids, etc. Families with less than fortunate circumstances involving their loved ones, the Troops of Desert Storm, the families of 911 and the YMCA family assistance program to name a few. The wealth of talent that Panache has been blessed with over the years must share credit to this successful business. The staff's goals, desires and their passion for their craft are in integral part of this combined effort. Panache is proud of the extended knowledge these professionals have to share with their clients. Their ongoing commitment to quality products and services guarantees their clients ultimate satisfaction. Panache has been offering the finest in professional hair care and bridal services, skin care expertise, therapeutic massage, manicure, and pedicure services for over the last 28 years. In the beginning... In March of 1982, Brenda Hunt opened Brenmar Hair Designs on Route 22 West in Whitehouse Station. This was at a time when men and women had really begun frequenting the salon together. Permanent waves were the rage! Even those who had a wave in their hair got a perm! In June 1985 Brenmar Hair Designs moved to a new location to accommodate the volume of business, as well as a home for Brenda to start her family. It was perfect! Then, in October of 1990 former employee, Bethann Hyndshaw had joined in the business venture and a new plan was hatched. Panache Hair, Nail and Skin Salon was born. Their mission was to exceed our client's expectations each and every time they visit. Together they grew their business to the point of expansion, again, and the idea of a Day Spa was exciting for their staff and clientele. In 1996, Brenda moved her family away and transformed the residential portion of this location it into a beautiful Day Spa complete with private Treatment Rooms, Hydotherapy Tub, Pedicure Spas and Manicure tables abounding. Hair Salon remained downstairs, a goal was accomplished, the name changed slightly to Panache Hair Salon and Day Spa. Early in 2006, Brenda once again was the sole proprietor of this fine company as Ms Hyndshaw had moved on. Many of the staff that have been there for years, have started families of their own but remain in this fine company available to their clients on a part time basis. New professionals have joined this staff over the years and the talent just gets better!!
