Alchesay High School, founded in 1956, is an alternative school that provides education to more than 700 students in grades nine through 12. The school s facilities include classrooms, a library, computer auditorium and media arts center. It has an activity center that organizes several community functions and events. The school offers classes in various subjects, including mathematics, science, social studies, English, art, music and physical education. It is located in Whiteriver, Ariz. Alchesay High School is a part of the Whiteriver Unified School District No. 20, which also operates Canyon Day Junior High, 7Mile Elementary, Whiteriver Elementary and Cradleboard Elementary schools.
