QSAC School, located in New York City, offers a range of programs and services to children with autism. The school s day program provides children of ages five to 21 with education implemented in a least restrictive environment. Each student receives individualized programming that is designed and implemented in conjunction with the Committee on Special Education, the student's family, school teacher, therapists, and the director of the school. The programs are designed according to the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. The school also offers family members participation in parent training workshops and family support groups. It also offers after school programs to provide therapeutic and behavior-oriented teaching and clinical treatment programs for children and adolescents. The program works to improve the behavior and social functioning of the children.
