I like H&H very much, not many restaurants in town but this one in my opinion is one of the best. They have a real Texas atmosphere and very good smoked meats with a great sauce and their southern potato salad is delicious. The staff is friendly and well I just like it. Only thing bad I can say is I wish they stayed open latter, but this town goes to sleep at dark.

My family and I have given Hooten Hollern 3 chances and each time we were not pleased. The sausage plater was good but the barbecue tasted like dry beef jerry that comes in the kids snuff cans.
