- Founded by the original owner, Bill Woodside in 1951. The first Lake Whitney Views issue, Volumn 1 Issue 1 was published in March, 1951. Mr. Woodside shared and promoted his enthusiasm for beautiful Lake Whitney through photography of the once brand new lake and Whitney dam developement and construction. His aspiration also included the beginning of the Miss Lake Whitney beauty pageant. In 1989, Mr. Woodside sold the unique monthly publication to Paul and Nancy Pederson, who continued to run the
