The Boys & Girls Club of Whittier provides year-round programs for youth aged 7 through 18 in the areas of education and career development, character and leadership development, health and life skills, sports, fitness and recreation and arts. The club, based in Whittier, Calif., offers a range of programs and activities that include street smart, kids in control, power hour, family support, torch club, reading explorers, fine arts exhibits program, career explorers, job ready, keystone club, basketball, indoor soccer league, community caf , college bound, job ready, woodworking and junior staff development. More than 25 national programs are available in the areas of education, environment, health, alcohol, drug and pregnancy prevention, gang prevention and athletics.
