Provided by YPmobileMy daughter was a client here and they over promised and under delivered constantly
They don't actually care about anything long term so they don't actually try to find out what the real problem is. They are more of a stabilization facility according to Heather the family therapist Dr Matt the director will promise the world and deliver nothing. Ask for everything in writing he refused He also provided protected information from a therapy session. Very unethical
They will make things worse by promising " this will be the best thing ever for your child"
And give false hope. Since they don't really care about long term goals they don't look into what the real problem is and try to solve those
They are a short term only and their attitudes and actions reflect it Very corrupt business
When I asked for the contact for the CEO I was given wrong information
Be very careful. Read the reviews they are true.
They allowed my daughter who had runaway associate with another kid that was known for running away from the facility and both of them ran away from the facility and the staff did nothing to prevent it and took no responsibility at all.
I was told could call and get updates anytime I wanted but when I called they would give any information and wouldn't provide their name when asked who am I speaking to they would say. " staff"
Which means they have no consequences for anything they say or do
They are a joke.
DO NOT send your child here if you care about their long term health, happiness and safety

Provided by YP.comThis place is awful. My sibling has been there for over 2 months and this has been the worst experience for my entire family. These people do not care about any of their patients' health. All they do is force-feed and medicate them. My sibling was recently dropped from her school due to lack of attendance and the center did absolutely nothing about it. The therapists and nurses are incompetent to say the least. It is also extremely expensive even if you have insurance. Please stay away from this place and look for other alternatives.

Provided by SuperpagesThis is a great place for troubled kids. Our 14 year old son has made great improvements in his attitude and behavior. The staff is friendly and the therapist he has is the best we have found in the Los Angeles area. The family group sessions are extremely helpful for the kids and the parents and the success stories that you hear from the kids after treatment are very heart warming. I highly recommend the Whittier facility.

Provided by SuperpagesDo not take your children here. Parents, I urge you to find somwhere else.. Do your research and try to find something. The so called councilors that are with your children 24 hours a day are kids themselves barely out of high school that have a power struggle going on and love to torment your kids. And their phase sytem is not based on if your child is doing well with the eating disorder, but if they are showering or getting up on time. This place is a joke and I regret ever taking my daughter here!
