West Whittier Elementary

Established in 1936, West Whittier School is part of the Whittier City School District. It enrolls more than 400 students in grades kindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes reading and writing, language arts, foreign language, math, science, and social studies. The student-teacher ratio in the school is 17-to-1. The school provides various facilities and services for students and staff. West Whittier Elementary comprises a kindergarten area, library, computer lab, multipurpose room and more than 20 classrooms. Provided by YP.comIT IS A POOR ACADEMIC SCHOOL AND MY CHILDREN TESTED BELOW GRADE AVERAGE AFTER THEIR SECOND YEAR HEAR ALWAYS BEING ABOVE GRADE AVERAGE AND MY SON WHO WAS IN GATE CLASS HAS HAD A VERY DIFFERENT INTERST IN SCHOOL. IF POSSIBLE LOOK FOR OTHER SCHOOL TO ATTEND!
