Provided by YP.comI had full faith Campos leather shop as I had always heard growing up that Mr.Campos was the best leather worker. My mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and ordered a wallet for Christmas, two months prior to have enough time. We were upset that it did not arrive but held on fait. After three months my mother had passed away and still no wallet. I am just receiving my wallet after two years and 4 months. I called many many times to only get the response that Mr.Campos was sick which I completely understand. Mr Campos passed away a year after the order, and I was told by his daughter Rosie-Campos Castro that the wallet was done it just needed to be stitched. I called every other month only to be told that she had been very busy and had basically placed others in front of my order. I am not one to ever complain. I receive my wallet a couple weeks ago only to find that the wallet (which was the one thing my mother left me) had been stitched on a machine and looked as if a fifth grader did it with no care. The stitching wasn't even for a wallet it was something you would use to stitch clothes, and it was brown which did not even match the wallet which was black. The thread was the very thin type which is not use to sew a wallet, a high end wallet that we ordered is hand stitched with thick leather. I had never seen such bad work in my life. I just cant get over that the fact that she would do this to such a beautiful wallet. When I called she said yes yes it is finished I am shipping it out today, which means she went and found the wallet, placed it under a SEWING MACHINE and ran across it without care, even the inside was not even lined up. Do not go here if you want good customer service. I feel bad to leave this review but at the same time, it was my mothers last wish that I had one of Mr.Campos wallets and now I am stuck hand sewing it myself with the traditional Mexican braid that he used to sew his wallets, and I do not know how I am going to cover up all of the random holes along the seams.

Provided by YP.comI have to tell you I've read the other reveiw and agree. But I've known the Campos family my entire life as far back as I can remember. Don Campos work is made to last. I remember taking all my heel to get reheeled and it may have taken time to do 6 pair but for the job and cost of it was well worth it. He may not be fast but I can say it does a FANTASTIC job of repairing shoes/heel/boots/saddles. I really don't know if we can ever replace such a great man like Mr Campos. May you live a long health life Don Campos! We all love your work and you abilty to tread forward under all condition! Con Mucho Amor!
