We searched for above ground shelters/safe rooms from a variety of contractors from Wichita Falls to the metroplex. After several months of talking with a number of contractors, we decided on Safe Solutions. We visited their business location and watched their works in progress. Overall they were our first choice due to what we saw and the price of their products. We've been pleased with the installed product and have used it a couple of times. We felt quite secure inside our shelter. We also use it as a safe room for records storage and other items. Check them out and you'll find their shelters to be excellent in product quality for construction and installation.

We just had our storm shelter installed by Safe Solutions and are 100% satisfied. The owner (Wayne) is extremely knowledgeable on his subject (he previously worked for FEMA) and provides great customer service. We does house visits for free estimates, but we went to his “factory” to check out some of his works in progress to help us decide on what we wanted (we decided on a 4x6 safe). He makes all his products from scratch to customer specification and exceeds FEMA standards. He completed our safe in about six weeks – exactly as estimated – and delivered to our house. Installation took just over an hour and we were very happy with the result. His product may be a little more expensive than the “drop in” safes you can get from local places like Lowes or Home Depot, but the quality is far superior.
