Not recommended.. the experience is important and it's done better else where in town. The pictures are not very clear

I enjoyed that the person doing the sonogram was very informative. She was able to tell me the baby had a 4-chamber heart, 2 kidneys, a fully-formed spine, and that the cord was normal. It was a lovely experience.

The detail that I was able to see with the baby was AMAZING! The tech that did my scan was absolutely wonderful! I greatly enjoyed my experience today! Thank you, Baby Waves West!

We loved everything...it was so cool! We enjoyed having our scan with Jessica!! We love her...very nice and personable! Would recommend her to ANYONE! Thanks Jessica!

I went to babywaves in 2010. My husband and i arrived 15 minutes early and checked in saying we were waiting on other family members. They wanted us to go back to the room, we again told them we were waiting on family. They told us we could wait in the room. When we went back to the room, the tech immediately told me to our down so we could start. We told her about our family and out conversation with the lady at the desk. She told us on a very hateful way "fine, but when it is time for your appt, we WILL start not a minute late!" and she walked out and shut the door. We still had 10 minutes before out appt. Once our family arrived (5minutes prior to our scheduled appt time) she started the scan and cut it short by 15 minutes! ...despite those problems, I decided to go again with out newest pregnancy (mainly because I didn't know of anywhere else that did 3D/4Dsonograms-I have since found out there is a business in Derby that does them)... I live in Augusta, babywaves moved to N Tyler on the west side of wichita (a 45 minute drive for us) when we got there, the lady at the front desk refused to accept my coupon I got off of their website. Then she told me my pkg did NOT include a DVD. When I told her the website says it does, she insisted the website was "no longer up" I pulled the website up on my cellphone and showed it to her. She changed her story to "i thought you wanted a CD" ...when we were doing the ($150 3R/4D scan), she did 90% of it in 2D only changing to the 3D/4D to take a picture. She also scanned only the baby's face (blurred with other stuff hiding most of it), and when I asked for a picture of the gender, she said "we do not do that". She cut 7 minutes off of our 30 minute scan and most of out pictures we recieved look like the same shot duplicated.ALL pictures are blurry and hard to make out. My sonogram dobe at 13 weeks was MUCH CLEARER and easier to see. Then after when I tried to go to the bathroom (full bladder is best for sonograms-even though they did not tell me that when scheduling my appt), they had the door licked and i had to go down the road and ask to borrow the restroom at the attorney's office... This place needs to be put out of business so they can not continue screwing people out of their money!

I really wanted to be able to give this place a good review but it doesn't look like that will be happening. I am seeing a midwife for my care so in order to get a sonogram done I was needing to go here. No problem right? Wrong! I had it ok'd with my insurance and everything for it to get covered and this place decided that they weren't going to trust that and said that in order for me to be seen, I would have to pay and then do all the work to get things into my insurance. What a load of crap! Whatever happened to customer service?? On top of that, I try to call them to tell them AGAIN that I have already gotten the ok from my insurance and no one picks up the phone. It's 11:15 not 6 in the morning or anything. I didn't even get a call yesterday to confirm my appointment and now I can't call to cancel! This place sucks! All they want is your money.

Awful experience! My wife and I came to Wichita from Arizona so that my inlaws could see the 3d/4d ultrasound of their first grandchild. We scheduled the appointment weeks in advance, and on the day of the appointment we showed up early and found only a locked door. We waited and waited, and they never showed up. We called their number and were connected with their answering service. The answering service paged them for an hour to no avail. Finally, with my wife in tears and my inlaws disappointed, we left emptyhanded to make the two hour drive back to the inlaws' house. Wasted an expensive plane ticket over these idiots. Cannot recommend them; do not walk- RUN away from these clowns.

So happy with the results! Baby Waves was amazing i loved the staff they were so nice. My family all came and we had twelve people with us and they made sure we all were comfortable in the sono room, which by the way is huge! After we got the pictures the staff told us thank you for coming to the buisness and congrats on our baby and it was so nice, a lot of buisness' now days dont thank their customers or make them feel welcome and Baby Waves did. I would recommend this place to every pregnant momma because it was a fun and unique experience

Baby Waves was a lot of fun. The staff was so nice. I recieved more pictures than what the package says ! The staff made it fun for everyone. The sonographer was helpful and answered any questions i had. All around it was very enjoyable. I would recommend this place to everyone!

I would not recommend this location. My experience was horrible. I scheduled my appointment at babywaves about two months prior. I will also start by saying this is my first pregnancy and ever since being pregnant I have wanted to do the babywaves. I made my appointment two months in advance this so I could make arrangements for my family and my husband’s family, who are from out of town, to experience this with us. Needless to say everybody who attended this appointment took time off of work. I got the phone call the day before to remind me of my schedule appointment. I was even more excited! The day of my appointment, which was at 12:00 PM, I left work 30 min. early to meet our family up there. I pull into the parking lot and get a phone call. It was babywaves telling me that they are having the machine worked on and wanted to schedule for later in the day. I explained that my family and I were in the parking lot getting ready to come up so I would need the soonest appointment due to my family being from out of town and needing to get home. They told me that I would just have to wait 15 min. NO BIG DEAL RIGHT? Well at 12:15 PM the lady at the front desk says, “Misti?” I jump out of my seat and say are you ready for us? She says, “no, your machine isn’t working.” I could feel the tears getting ready to fall! She said that is was routine work being done on the machine and something broke! Yeah, right is what I wanted to say! Who does routine work on a machine like that at 12:00 in the afternoon. You would think that is something that is done at the end of the day after scheduled appointments. The attempted to get me to reschedule with no compensation! Didn’t offer a discount….NOTHING! My husband’s family and my family wasted money to come to Wichita for nothing! Can’t reschedule so my family can come because they have to give their work prior notices. By the time I could reschedule so my family could come I would be like 32 weeks. They lady didn’t understand why I wanted them their. Needless to say she doesn’t understand that this is the first grand baby on my husband’s side of the family and on my side as well! I would not recommend this place what so ever! O~ and to top things off the guy working on the machine came out and said, “I’m the one who broke it.” He was not kind at all! I was even nice for the most part! I hear there is another place in Wichita that does the 3D/4D ultrasound! I would recommend looking into that and scheduling an appointment their. I also hear it is cheaper! If I get the name I will post it on here! Don’t waist you time or money at Babywaves…where they don’t care how much it cost you to get there and don’t care about you feelings!
