I had Medical Appointments & so they sent Best Cab to take me & bring me back home. I live in Dodge City & my Appointments were in Garden City. The drivers name was John. There were ALOT of problems with this driver! His van stunk so bad, that before I even arrived at my appointment I was feeling sick at my stomach. He was on the phone the whole 40 minutes & when he was not on the phone he was texting! When he spoke he had horrible breath. I made a Complaint about the whole thing & I see that Best Cab don't really care!! For this happened a week or so ago & I seen the same Filthy driver & same Filthy van 2 days ago.. Best Cab what is ur Problem?

I arranged for a 7:15 a.m. pickup to the airport. The driver arrived 15 minutes early so I rushed to head down to my cab. I noticed there was no meter running, which was odd. When I arrived at the airport he said the fare was $13. Every other time I've taken a cab, it's been less than $9 heading to the airport. I called the dispatcher and she indicated that was not done correctly and advised me to call Tim or Tom on Monday, and I certainly will. So beware greedy Best Cab drivers! Uber and Lyft, here I come!!!

My driver showed up to pick my uncle and I up in Syracuse kansas ten before we were told that she would be there and any time we asked her to stop on the way up to Wichita and back home she did.

If i had the option, i would give this place 0 star. My cab driver was disrepectful, nasty and rude to me & my 2 little kids. His car was dirty & full of trash. The worst part was that I did not tip him... but i just found out that he tipped himself. Thief!!!!

Worst service. Was at the airport yesterday night needing a Taxi to take me, my husband and 7 year old daughter home with three large suitcases. Taxi wouldn't take us saying we had too many bags. We know the taxi can fit our bags being that same size taxi took us to the airport. My daughter was worn out wanting her bed after a 14hr flight. Why say you do airport service or even send a taxi to the airport rank that isn't willing to take luggage. Called ABC taxi who sent a car in 3 mins (same size car) and guess what it fitted all the luggage in with no issue. Don't use Best cabs use ABC taxi.

Called them from a bar on my birthday at 6:30. I was told 45 minutes to an hour. Two hours later when I called back I was told " we just got really busy". Seriously? Called back at 9:00 and when they couldn't or wouldn't give me a time frame she just told me my cab was cancelled and hung up on me!! I have used them numerous time in the past including earlier that da . Based upon how I was treated I would not call again. So sad. Had great service on every other occasion.

I wish that yelp had an option do give a company 0 stars. I work at a hotel front desk and was trying to call a cab for a guest, and the dispatcher was UNBELIEVABLY RUDE. There was no need for it. The dispatcher then requested to talk to guest which he did, and I could hear him yelling at the guest THROUGH THE PHONE. Never in my life have I experienced worse customer service or someone who SHOULD NOT have a job, but NEVER work in customer service again.

This is the worst experience with ANY type of business I've ever dealt with. In the 12 years I have worked for hotels, not once has this "company" acted like a real business. First, and foremost - not once, no exaggeration, have they EVER been accurate to the time they have committed to, even when the cab is called 24 hours ahead of time. Not once in 12 years. That is, of course, if you can even get them to answer their phone. Even if you do, you will be subject to one of the following; they will hang up on you as you are asking for a cab, or you will be told "they are not taking any orders at this time" (on a Tuesday morning at 5 am, in Wichita KS.(impossible to be busy at this time)). It's time for other cab companies to step up their games and run this HORRIBLE "company" out of town. It is MIND BOGGLING that this company has made it for 50 or whatever years they claim to have been around. Lucky for them they are in Wichita and not a real city or they would be destroyed as they should be.

I use to drive for Best Cabs back in 2009. I know that most of these comments regarding how long it took for the them to pick up the indivdual is correct. They do a deal called holding orders on the board. I was dispatched to pick up a woman on South Hillside and she was going to Chruch's Chicken for work. I was less than 4-5 blocks from her duplex. I arrived at her place in just a few minutes after I recieved the order on my onboard computer. The woman was absolutley furious when she got into my taxi. She told me she had been waiting for 2 hours for a taxi and cuss words just a flying from her. I did not take an offense at it because I understood. I explained that I had just recieved the order and showed her the time it came through on my computer. I believed it calmed her down a bit, but was still very upset being so late to work. It was then I learned that Best cabs will hold orders on the board meaning, they will not dispatch a call to a driver the minute someone calls in. I really do believe they give most of the calls to their pet drivers and or seasoned drivers whom they favorite. The rest of the taxi drivers who they don't really care about can wait for the hand-me down orders when their pet favorite drivers are not free to accept another order.. So to recap they hold the orders "Wanting" to give the orders to the pet favorite drivers. Therefore you have the long wait, even though there are plenty of drivers that have no orders and Best Cab does not care as long as the pet drivers are fed first. It is a cruel and heartless business for the customer and to the driver. You'll never see a pet driver doing an RT run, meaning a liquor run which means the driver will only earn about $5.00 for it and no tip. The pet drivers are to good for that!

Absolute crap

Am flying in early tomorrow morning on a private plane from NYC. Needed a pickup time at 4:30 am and the operator says he won't send a cab because no flights land at ICT at 4:30 AM. While this may be true with commercial airlines, this is a charter flight. He kept insisting I was wrong and that no flights land at ICT at that hour. I tried to explain the difference between commercial and

Charter flights yet the idiot redneck operator seemed oblivious. He then hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to his supervisor And was hung up on again. Never into life have I experienced such rude customer service. Needless to say, I called a competitor and was assured a cab and treated with respect. If I could give this company negative stars I would. I'm from NYC and am used to dealing with rude cabbies and cab companies on the daily , but this company takes the cake. Stay away and caveat emptor.

Can't wait to get my car out if shop

I've used this taxi service 3 days in a row. The first guy was great and my fare was only $11. Then I get the same girl the next / days and she had to go the long way costing me $20! I called today and said I needed a taxi at 2:30, then I get a phone call and text saying my taxi is out front . When I called the dispatcher I said my taxi came early . He didn't seem to care much .

Need more cabs and better appt. timing

Called for a cab an 1 hr an 20 mins. ahead to schedule a pick up time for 8:15am. Got up an ready to go to work... and no cab! Called an bugged them 2 or 3 times an all they could tell me was 1 was on the way. Ended up being 10 mins. late for work! An this isn't the 1st time, been taking this cab service for 1 year now and never had any problems unitl months ago now. Found out that if they think its worth it to pick you up they will but if not then they won't. Before had to pay 13 dollars a ride, then I moved closer to work an now I only pay 6 dollars, guess they figured not worth it anymore. So wrong...!!! Tried ABC taxi an they seemed to do better got home within a reasonable time guess I'm switching to them.

I set up an appointment to get picked for an airport run this morning.calledsunday night for 5am pick up on Monday. Dispatcher calls at 4:53 and tells me they are running 25 min late which puts way too close to boarding time. What is the point of calling in advance? These guys are idiots, will never use them again under any circumstances. Not to mention the dispatcher lied about trying to call earlier, clearly he doesn't understand a cell phone will show missed calls.

I was a little nervous because I had never taken a cab by myself & because of the other reviews but worried for nothing! Arrive right on time, cab smelled fresh & clean and driver was extremely polite and helpful!

Wichita Taxi drivers are lazy, I had 5 bags at the airport returning from my Honeymoon. I asked 3 drivers to help , not one would help 2 actually were smoking in there cabs, which smelled terrible. I told them to fly a kite and called a relative. Worst service I ever

experienced.
