It took me 13 days, but I finally had both Italian Beef and Italian Sausage at Big B's Beef, just north of 47th and Seneca. It was excellent. I've been disappointed about a lack of Chicago-style food in Wichita, but it's finally here. The beef was juicy. The sweet peppers were excellent. I had my Italian Sausage with red sauce. Wow! It's all made to order, so it takes a bit longer, but it's worth the wait. The wonderful fries are hand cut. Prices are reasonable. If you love Chicago and Chi-town food, let's do our part to patronize this business. I'll be sure to take my wife back for a Gyros, pronounced YEE-ROS, and THEY HAVE THE ROTISSERIE, the only place in town I know of. I haven't had the Chicago-style dog yet, but I have great expectations. They have free delivery for the Southwest Side.
