I would have given our Neighborhood Dillons a 5 star rating until today. I love to walk into Dillons and smell the floral arrangements at the entrance. I always slow down and embrace the moment. Both my wife and I find having this olfactory greeting along with the beautiful displays enhances our visit. Because of this we rarely shop anywhere else. We also enjoy knowing the restrooms are kept clean but most of all, we enjoy the people. They don't forget that the customer is a person and when possible, they take time to visit without sacrificing the quality of their duties. We always look for one person in particular when we go and are disappointed when he is not there. Matt makes a huge difference for us.

however, today we were saddened not to see an American flag waving. there were plenty for sale, but not one waving. We drove to 3 other Dillons looking for one who was specifically honoring our nation for which several of our family members are diabled vets because of wanting to protect it, but we found not one Dillon's we visited/drove by displaying a flag on this Independence day. therefore the only 4 stars.
