I had a very different experience that ehushour. I haven't been collecting coins since I was a kid. Both my mother and my in-laws had saved a number of coins - several hundred. Twenty years after their passing, it got me back into coin collecting.



After reading ehushour's review, I was leery about going to Heartland. I did decide to check them out. I needed some coin holders in any case. I also took an 1878-s Morgan dollar with me.



When I got there, it was quite busy. Within five minutes I was being helped. I mentioned that I had come into a fair number of coins and was getting interested in collecting again. Even though that, other than buying $3.75 worth of collecting supplies, it was clear that I wasn’t buying or selling anything on this visit, he took all the time I wanted to answer all my questions about resuming coin collecting. He gave me a fair assessment of the Morgan dollar. All in all, it was a good experience. I don’t know (yet) if they have the best prices either for buying or selling, but they seemed reasonable.

Rudest people I've ever encountered. Ever. May not have had coins that were worth much but suggested I sell on EBay??? Sure that makes tons of sense. Never again. And their coin selection was very poor.
