This store is across town for me but I always prefer it over the larger chain stores. The customer service is wonderful! I did see a comment that someone bought a dog from this place and gave them a bad rating but Pet WORLD doesn't sell dogs. Pet LAND however sells them from puppy mills which you should always avoid. This place specializes in small animals and aquatic life. I will always recommend them!

OMG, the customer service rep that I spoke with was SO HELPFUL! He was exceptionally knowledgeable; he knew all about an older aquarium reef light fixture I was trying to find a replacement bulb for. I would recommend this place to anyone needing supplies, accessories, or replacement items for freshwater and saltwater hobbyists.

I always wanted a fish tank iv always bn vrry visually attracted to them.I went in on a whim an ended up buying about 5fish.Altho if i hadnt went ther i would have bought 10 or 20 bcuz i jst ddnt have a clue about cycleing an fish tank requirments for happy healthy fish.They ddnt seem eager to jst mke the sale at the animal or my expence an i cant thank them enuff for being tht way.straight up honest,friendly.Its been a cple monthes an iv now got 3tanks a lots of very beautiful fish.Thanks to them i have never lost a fish due to the most common 1st time owner reasons.They are happy healthy an a complete joy to watch for hours.better than tv thts forsure.I go in evry other day by habbit an iv always gtta gt the latest gadgets n gizmoes lol.plus iv found myself being very fond of the younger girl tht works the front.lol we both love fish an it never hurts tht she is gorgous..They have my buisness 100%..

Horrible, TERRIBLE customer service. I have been going to Pet world for a year and a half, hoping my experience would improve. I'd rather support a locally owned business than a large company like petsmart and petco but I will never be returning here.



I filled out their special order forms for a few bichir species a year ago and never heard back. I asked them this April to call me when they got other ropefish in and left my number. I never heard back from them and when I stopped by to get frozen krill I saw a ropefish for sale (an employee told me another customer was livid he wasn't called when they got them in either).



The straw that broke the camels back was this May. I spoke at length with Troy (the owner/manager/whatever) about ordering some ranchu goldfish. He said he would get a handful of them in in three weeks. I called later and spoke with Troy to confirm the day the order would come in so I could get there to pick mine up ASAP. He confirmed that it would be in the next Thursday. When I showed up however there were no ranchus and an employee told me they weren't even getting an order that week because Troy left for a conference. There was one, poorly conformed lionhead goldfish in their tanks, two employees insisted it was the same as a ranchu but they most certainly are NOT the same. I spoke with a woman up front and asked her to call me if the order ever did come in; she insisted they would. I have still heard nothing and if they call now they will not be getting my money.





Their prices are laughable ($90 for a 3 inch, captive bred ornate bichir is ridiculous!), their service is terrible, and their non-aquatic animals look poorly treated.
