Provided by YP.comDO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! Pet stores often buy from puppy mills, which abuse animals who are kept in a cage for most of their lives. We need to put stores like this out of business, not buy from them but say "Oh yea that's bad." PLEASE consider adopting from a shelter or a local breeder (if you must). If you adopt from anyone, go to their house and look at the living conditions. Many times, breeders themselves abuse the dogs or buy from puppy mills. PLEASE HELP STOP PUPPY MILLS!!

Provided by YPmobileThank you guys for saying all that stuff about what happend I was gonna get a border collie for christmas for my 10 year old daughter. She would would have been heart broken. So we couldnt find a border collie that she wanted from any of the breeders that are around our area. So we went with a mini aussie blue merle. She is now a year old. So hyper :-) we love her so much we paid $450 for her and she was worth every penny! And I am trult sorry for what happened to you all that ur puppies have problems now. But you helped me a lot! Some one should sue them terrible people! They dont deserve one star from me but I had to :-(

Provided by YP.comI bought an English bulldog for $2,700 from Petland. I've taken him to the vet and did everything they asked. Now, I might have to pay for surgery for the dog. After I was told and have in writing that they will cover surgery up to the price of the dog. Yet, I might be stuck paying for a $1,500 vet bill... on top of the $2,700 I paid for the dog! With all this going on I've called several times and no one wants to give me answers or return my calls. I've talked to an attorney. It's sad it has to come to this but they sell unhealthy dogs and they don't even want to kee their word. I took the dog in to see Kutter (their vet) within the 4 day check period. They wouldn't let me return him. Pretty much, I was told you are stuck with a sick dog and now you have to foot the bill. Not a good way to treat people that spend that amount of money in your store! If anyone else is having issues. Plus, feel free to call this third party number. They will help you get answers and get Petland to answer you. They helped me and it's free! 1-800-221-5935 & 1-941-391-5412 Good luck!

Provided by YP.comI'm sorry I bought my dog from the Pet Land store in Wichita ks.. But I will never be sorry for finding my Lambert. Lambert is an English Bull Terrier. This breed has a lot of health issues. When I brought Lambert home I had to take him to the vet the following day. The Vet told me that I needed to take him back to the store, he was very sick. It was to late for that because I already loved him too much. Needless to say, to this day Lambert is still on meds. He will be on these meds for the rest of his life. He will be 5yrs. old this year. The breeders of my dog gave back the money that I spent on Lambert. They wrote me a check for the full price that I paid for him. In exchange,I sent them back his papers stating that he was a registered purebred breed. That didn't matter to me. I would never breed a dog with any kind of health issues.Unlike those who sold their puppies to Pet Land. Nor like Pet Land who sells sick puppies to the public, knowing that they are indeed form puppy mills.
