Provided by YP.comI have been going to Price Optical for years for my glasses. They are always helpful and kind at Price. Mike is the bomb, when I can't find any glasses I like - he always comes up with at least 2 more choices. After all these years, he knows the style I like and always hooks me up. I won't go anywhere else for eye-glasses and I send everyone I know over there so they can get an awesome deal too!

Provided by YP.comWhat can I really say about this. First, my husband purchased my glasses with the coatings that Mike talked us into. Second, my glasses came in early but for some reason they didn't call me to let me know that there was a problem when they came back from the coatings lab. The problem is that the lenses were switched out. Third, I was told that I would have to wait for nearly a week longer to have them re done. I explained that my current glasses are too strong and it give me massive headaches and my eyes get tired fairly quickly. Do you think that made any difference. NO! They won't even comp me for the screw up. I even had a heavy set girl when I called Mike over to talk to him to tell me it wasn't his fault. Dear, I have news for you he is the owner and has to take responsibility for mistakes. I was even told to "shut up" by the same girl when I was getting angrier after asking that we be comped for the massive mistake. Mike told me that it didn't work that way.
I go to eat with a friend who had done business with Price and was told that they blamed her for losing her own glasses for over a month, which they haven't even given her after they were made. I've heard horror story after horror story recently about Price Optical. They are more expensive than probably another Optician.
I will be calling my insurance company to let them know what has happened. I would do lots of research on Opticians to find out who is the best in town.

Provided by YP.comWhen I came in the first time, they didn't have any up-to-date styles and were expensive, so I left. Came back later and paid $180+ for only glasses I liked. Within an hour of wearing them, I had a splitting headache: they're ill-fitting. The lenses have such glare that I can see my own eyes in them at all times. I went back to get them fixed. Then staff told me anti-glare lenses coating is an extra $75+, got in my face about how "you ought to expect to pay that much for frames custom-fit to your face," and adjusted frames. They still give me headaches. Curious, I rifled through a drawer at home to find a FREE pair I got from Coastal years ago. The glasses are IDENTICAL: except that the Coastal glasses have anti-glare lenses (free!), don't give me headaches, and I didn't have to bear being publicly chastised for being "cheap."
