Much too angry to say anything civil about or to this agency. Kept premium payment even though he was advised I switched companies. As an insurance agent, he knew paying 2 insurance companies from my escrow account would create a HUGE shortage in my escrow account, resulting in a HUGE increase in my monthly mortgage payment......which it had. I first notified him on July 7th that I switched companies and asked that money be returned after finding out that payment to Farmers had been made on July 2nd. According to insurance agent friends, money should have been returned within 2 weeks so that I could return it to my escrow account. Been over 2 months and mortgage payment has now been increased by nearly $200 monthly because of escrow shortage created by him keeping premium payment......an increase which I can't afford with other increased expenses. Bet if I wasn't a widow, money would have been returned. Another insurance agent has advised me to contact insurance commissioner.
