I went to Rodriguez Fashions this afternoon because people recommended the store, saying that had shawls or wraps that could match my dress that I was wearing for my son's wedding. I saw a picture of my coworker's daughter with one that she bought from Rodriguez's. A man was at the front of the store. He asked, "could I help you?". I said I would like to look a wraps or shawls for my dress. I even gestured with my hands what I was looking for. He said, 'we don't sell those things here". I knew he was lying but I said "oh?" and I thanked him and left. I didn't want to even rate one star. As long as this type of person exists in the world, in our country we will never progress; we will never get to a point where we are judged by the content of our character instead of being judged by the color of our skin.
