If I could give negative stars I would. Please stay far far away from this B&B. The owner is a scam artist. He charged me for 3 nights stay and when I told him I would only be staying one night he said no problem he would refund me the other 2 nights. That was 3 months ago, many unanswered phone calls and emails ago. I now have a fraud investigation going through my bank to get the money back. The house looks great in picts but is actually a dingy house falling apart. There are really bad garbage odors from the house next door that the B&B owner is trying to mask with unbearable levels of fragrance diffusers. There is even sickening levels of chemical spray on the sheets. My bed was actually wet from the spray that is how much is sprayed on. There was also a person standing outside my balcony with a gun in his hand for a while from the house next door. Really glad I paid that extra money for a balcony overlooking a garbage bin overflowing with garbage and a gangster with a gun. Who would ever expect this at a B&B. Not me. Have always had fantastic experiences at them until this one. I feel so bad for the two little dogs that have to live in that sickening level of fragrance. Imagine what it is like for them. I have no idea how they make this B&B look so good in picts. It is bizarre the difference between the picts and real life.

This past week we had the wonderful pleasure to discover the Serenity B&B. We were traveling to a funeral in Oklahoma City from Missouri. We chose Wichita as our over night rest stop. Ken the Inn keeper was very accommodating in allowing us to arrive after midnight due to late travel start. He gave us a number to wake him up on our arrival. We were so pleasantly surprised at the amazing room with a king size 4 poster bed and sitting room, private bath and private balcony on the second floor with wonderful coffee in our room with beautiful cups with sunflowers on them. It had tasteful decorations and oil paintings we so enjoyed looking at. The breakfast the next day was a rival to any I have ever had at any other B&B. Ken gave us the history on the antebellum home. Very intriguing. I found out they also offer Mystery Dinners where you can interact in a mystery. Looks like so much fun. I would recommend this B&B to everyone! So thankful we were able to be a guest there.

This place was terrible. I got my mom the wedding package. The package online is misleading and the owner would not compensate me for not having the room with the Jacuzzi available since the package was supposed to include that. The owner also made many assumptions (like not setting out the champagne, which I paid for) without asking my mom or her fiancé. He also charged me for a late check out fee even when my mom and her fiancé left early. He was rude to my in-laws who were going to check in early for my mom and her fiancé. He would not even open the door for them. Several things around B and B were disheartening: blanket to set apart the dining room, old and dusty fake silk flowers on the floor, and the room (which he showed me) was not clean after four hours after my mom and her fiancé left. I paid for three dozen fresh flowers but their were not three dozen flowers in the room, let alone fresh ones. He gave me about three dozen after I complained but they were not fresh (wilting and falling apart) and not the ones from the room. He also wrapped them in Christmas wrapping paper. Needless to say I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I WAS THERE IN MARCH 2013 AND THE THE B AND B WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING. I HIGHLY SUGGEST IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN A B AND B IN WICHITA THAT YOU STAY ELSWHERE.

We stay at B&Bs 2 - 3 times / year for about the last 10 years now and Serenity B&B is one of the top ones we've been to. Beautifully furnished. Rooms were very clean and well outfitted. Service was top notch. Appreciated the tour of the B&B when we got there. Breakfasts were over-the-top wonderful!!! Was easy to find and quiet location. Wonderful bed in our room. Ken the owner was very accommodating. Seemed well run. Definitely recommend Serenity B&B and we will certainly be returning again.

Ken was a wonderful host for the one night we stayed at his B&B. He recommended an excellent brewery in Old Town Wichita the evening we arrived, and he also cooked a delightful breakfast the following morning. His french toast was scrumptious, providing the perfect fuel for the remainder of our drive back to Colorado that day. The room was lovely and well-appointed. The bed was quite comfortable after a long day in the car. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I accidentally left my glasses in the room after we left. I called Ken from somewhere in western Kansas when I realized my lapse, and he promptly offered to mail them directly back to my house. They arrived shortly and were packaged up in soft cotton to cushion their travel. I was so appreciative of his willingness to help and his professional courtesy. He takes good care of the folks who come through his marvelous house.

My wife and I stayed at Serenity B&B and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was well-appointed (had lots of amenities) and was very comfortable (bed) and clean. Breakfasts were top-notch w/ ample portion sizes. Service was exceptional. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. Beautiful old Victorian B&B, too!
