Have lived at southfield apartments for over a year now..nice size apartments but there are lots of negatives...the walls & ceilings are paper thin..you can hear everything going on next door & above you...none of the screens fit properly on windows so dont bother opening windows or bugs will get in & there are already enough spiders & roly poly bugs already inside...lots of moisture inside of the windows...mold inside some of the closets..i could go on & on..so as soon as i save up enough money for another deposit i am moving...the low cost rent is not worth it.

I will be at Southfield for 1 yr in June. It has been nothing but problem after problem. When I first moved in the front door didn't latch well. They told me I needed a new door but it would cost money to fix... The matienence people are who own the apartments n they are horrible with resident satisfaction. They take months to do anything. I'm dealing with termites n my children's room n all the are telling me is that it will be worse before it gets better n they are trying to treat but nothing to accommodate me. They are lazy... There was a fire next door to me took 3 months before the actually found the body of the man who lived there. CREEPY!!! They have no remorse for the issues in the apartments they are terrible landlords. I have loud neighbors with dogs that are rude n I wish I never signed a lease!!!! Never go there
