Wow.. What a great way to start off the day. Go rent a motel while I'm visiting my mom in the hospital.. don't even live here and I nearly spent everything on the motel at 8 this morning after looking around at all the places here in Wichita right near via Christi hospital, get inside and immediately notice that it's the worst motel I've ever been in. EVER.
DO NOT go to Town manor motel on Broadway in Wichita. We got in their, they gave us 2 things.. a key and a remote.. the remote didn't even work, then went to the bathroom and saw spit and other stuff in the bathtub, cord hanging down from a light, black mold in the whole top of the ceiling, scum and whatever else on the walls, dried blood on sheets and pillowcases, burnt blankets, crumbs in both beds, all over the floor and all the drawers, bathroom door didn't even shut or stay shut and had no lock, the sink was bein held up by wood, stickers around the lining of the bathroom mirror, there was no shampoo, soap, or even a phone book. Hell, there wasn't even a bible. AND to top it all off.. FLEAS. Yes, fleas. I had two fleas land on me and then Cody did too. Now.. I'm not picky but there are a small list of things that every motel needs.. clean sheets and towels, shampoo and soap, phone book and to feel like you can sleep in the bed without leaving with a disease! Lol
Anyway, so we went and told him we wanted our money back 30 minutes after we got it and he says okay, then comes back and says we smoked cigarettes in the room so no refund.
Neither Cody nor I even smoke cigarettes. Rare to find one that doesn't smoke let alone two but yup! And then he proceeds to tell us he wasn't givin our key back either. Not like I wanted to be in there but he did some shady kickem while they're down kinda stuff.
Anyway people, DO NOT GO TO TOWN MANOR MOTEL. We stayed in room #27.
