I'm very sorry to hear about your experience! I'm the New Owner of this Fantastic Sams. I purchased it just a couple of weeks ago. I've owned and operated 4 Fantastic Sams salons for over 20 years in Louisiana. I've been associated with or working in the Regional Fantastic Sams offices since 1989.



I'm thrilled to be now living on the coast. You are correct, the highlight should have been done and your treatment was far from Fantastic.



Greenchoc24, Its late in coming, but let me assure you, I appreciate you taking the time post your thoughts. The current staff has over 45 years of combined hair care experience. I hope you decide to give Fantastic Sams another try. I can assure, that is not an experience you would have today.

So, i decided to check out the new fantastic Sam's and drove 24 miles away fom home. I couldnt call because they werent open when i was getting ready so i just thought i would be there at 9 and ask so that i could give them enought te if they were goong to do it. First of all the place was pretty clean and it was nice having a tv while waiting. When I went in, I asked if she could do highlights and a flat iron in about 2 hours because I had to go to work. It was kind of hard to talk over the loud tv though in the background while at the register. Anyways, She sat me down, checked through my hair and told me that since I had already had highlights, she couldn't go back through it cause it would be too damaging to overlap the highlights. So I said okay and left. I for one, know that there IS a way to do highlights without overlapping. All you have to do is pick the places that aren't already highlighted. I know because I'm a hairstylist and I can foil a full head of highlights in 45 minutes with it looking descent and flat iron someone's hair using small sections in about 30 minutes. Oh an when I was askin her the price of all this she said it would be about 75 for the highlights which wasn't bad cause I had the money but she acted like she really didn't want to do it as she rolled her eyes when I asked if she could do it within two hours. By the way it was a tall dark lady with short hair. This is not a way to bring in customers. Especially the way she acted towards the situation.
