Dr. McBride and her staff has competently treated our Lhasa Apso for over 16 years. They are the best. Nikki was not always the perfect patient. However, the entire staff at Sumter Animal Hospital was always gentle and caring with Nikki.



Recently, Nikki took her last breath. We want to thank Dr. McBride and her awesome staff for being so kind in our time of sorrow. They will never know how much it meant to Rae and I at a time when we were just overwhelmed with grief.



Rae and I want you to know we appreciate you all.

I agree with everyone that McBride is a great vet which is why I travel to take my animals to her. However you do need a bit of a thick skin to deal with her office, the staff are generally cold, and some are plain lacking in any kind of bed side manner. If they disapprove in any way of how you are treating you pet you will be in for a rude awakening, emphasis on rude. But still I haul my dogs over there whenever necessary.

We feel so lucky to have found Dr. McBride and staff. They were personable, knowledgable and extremely in tune with our Mandy's needs and problems. Dr. McBride relayed what was going on with Mandy in a to the point manner, showing compassion and extreme understanding of the breed. The staff was knowledgable of the products and procedures.This is a doctor I in which I have complete confidence.

We have gotten Rottweilers from Dr. Mc Bride for approx. 20 years. On each puppy she has taken a professional and personal interest as if the pup was her own "child". We would gladly take our 4 legged family member 600 miles to her for surgery and/or any necessary specialty treatment.

She is a Must Vet if you have show dogs.

Dr. McBride is a absolutely wonderful vet... Dont get much better.
