After reading reviews here and on Tripadvisor I attempted to book their advertised Labor Day package and to my surprise I was told that I could not book the room I chose unless I paid for the unsold night on the room which was before the start of the package. Annoyed I asked to speak to a manager and was informed that I was speaking with an owner. I find most of the reviews for the property to have a rehearsed review because if you read most of them carefully I do not know how anyone could know all of the specifics about the property to post. I had high hopes here but after my conversation with the owner I was very turned off. How is an unsold room my problem prior to an advertised package?

My husband, daughter and myself have been going to this awesome motel for over 10 years: The quality of the Imperial 500 and its staff is 2nd to none:the facility is immaculate, the laundry room is always kept in top working condition, the grounds are scrubbed and hosed down every morning. there are 2 pool tables coin operated, a nice game room, well stocked information center in the office, always an open laundry room where u can go and request another set of towels, dish cloths, etc. if needed.The staff at the desk have the best personality! U can buy tee shirts, sweatshirts, hats, towels, stamps. there is a neat postcard display for you to chose your "wish u were here" post cards.we go with 7 other families and everyone of us including all the kids get treated like one of the family. Love this place and to not stay here during the length of our vacation is like being in a strange place. Oh by the way, the pool is to die for!!!!!!! nice kiddie pool, good diving board.

Great, friendly staff! They allow you to use the facilities prior to checking in and after checking out! The only possible negative is that the beds could use some improvement, but their not any worse than the beds at any other motel in the area.
