As a completely inexperienced angler I started my new hobby at Jersey Bait and Tackle. LINDA - the owner was the most fabulous teacher and guide a person could ask for. She did not make me feel inept at all. Linda took me from step one of how to tie a line right through my first big catch surf casting - a 34 pound 50 inch stripped bass!!!- only one day later!! In my opinion, a small privatly owned, non-chain shop is the way to go. Linda made a lifetime angler out of me. The staff are all great and always ready to answer any question, just ASK.
