Provided by YP.comWe came in town passing through and liked the look & smell of this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to have both home baked bread, but also free bruschetta, which was tasty.
We both chose the very reasonably priced prix fixe meal, which offered appetizer, soup, entree, dessert, and coffee.
My partner enjoyed the calamari, while I enjoyed mussels in marinara sauce. Both were good-size portions. We then tried the pasta fagioli and a caesar salad, which were both good. He then essayed a luscious fish w/ capers and wine sauce, while I had the eggplant rollatini. We thought the portions were pretty large and we in fact save about half to take home so we'd have room for the tiramisu (which was good, although I've had better) and the creme brulee, which was excellent.
Cappuccino at the end of this fine meal sealed the deal.
We liked the ambiance, the large selection of wines. The service was a little weak at times when we had trouble locating our waiter. Luckily it was a bit of a team effort from the waitstaff at times b/c they helped him out.
We were very pleasantly surprised to get such inexpensive and high-quality Italian food in a relatively small town.
