My wife and I went to see Dr. Gell. After many failed IUI's we moved to IVF. During treatment, the nurse Grace and Dr. Gell were very slow with returning calls. My wife often didn't know her dosage of meds for several nights and just took what she was previously told to do because they "forgot" to call with the updated dosage information. My wife ended up with sever OHSS, which Dr. Gell had warned us about, but not to the extent to which it was. When my wife finally got an appointment with Dr. Gell after suspecting something was wrong, she was told she had a mild case of OHSS and it would "work itself out". Well in the end, my wife had about 7 pints of fluid drained and her ovaries were twisting. Dr. Gell did not identify this sever problem and said it would work itself out. Thank god we chose to get a second opinion at the ER. Please do not go to Dr. Gell!!!! There are several more professional and educated fertility doctors in the area. Our experience with this lady was absolute hell!
