The facilities are very nice, with lots of room for the dogs to run and play. Pick up time for dogs is 1:00 and if you don't pick up your dog by 1:00 they will charge you for an extra day. I was coming home from Detroit and got stuck behind an accident in morning rush hour traffic on i-75. I called the kennel to tell them I would be about an hour late and was told "no problem", when I got to the kennel 45 minutes late to pick up my dog they charged me another $35. I understand their are rules and policies but there is also a thing called compassion.

Don't go there! We bought a labradoodle puppy there. We were not told how hard labradoodles are to train but given the opposite impression. The two year guarantee is essentially useless. We were not told our puppy had giardiasis when when took him home (our vet later told us that this is easily communicable to humans). When we had trouble training our puppy, we were treated with extreme verbal abuse and our puppy treated with physical abuse (our dog trainer said their methods have proven to be ineffectual and harmful to the puppy).

Best kennel in town! They have a great passion for the animals and our dog always comes home happy and tired, she never wants to leave

Home away from home. 5 star hotel for dogs. My husband and I have been on extended vacations to Europe and we searched the area for a kennel with a lot of space to run, for our husky,and cozy enough for our papillon. Our dogs have received great care at Acme kennels. Luna and Sunnie know Ryan and Carol's name and they are happy to go. When we have come from our vacations, they are happy and content and display no behavioral problems. I think Carol and her team do a great job and I trust them completely to give our dogs the attention they need.
