I been there few times last year and had just bad experience. Leah ruined my perfectly healthy hair. Jim was trying to fix it and it did got a little better, but what is cut is cut and what´s ruined is ruined. I paid a pretty penny and have to wait till it´s growing out. Never go back!

First visit today with Jim. Finally...a cut personalized for my face and my lifestyle. I have a new stylist and couldn't be more pleased. He actually utilized a new technique based on what I was wanting to achieve. Very relaxed atmosphere and everyone was so nice.

I have been seeing Leah to get my hair fabulous. She does a wonderful job as does the entire staff at Jim De's. You cant help but feel welcome when you walk in. Although you may be going in to see a certain stylist ( as I see Leah) the entire staff treats you as if you were their client as well. They are attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I recommend Jim De's to everyone!

The owner will promise you to ...

The owner will promise to provide you a professional service and instead he delivers anything but professional. He will have any hair stylist apply any treatment, even they are not licensed or certified for to apply that specific treatment, and for that he should have his license revoked and he should be fined. He did a horrible job on my hair, which started by using the wrong product, then he tried to fix it by having several of his stylists work on my hair who were not certified for what they were doing. I learned a lot about this individual and a lot about his unhappy costumers who will not return to him ever. Well over priced for what they provide and the staff is rude if you question their so called professional job or are not satisfied with how they are doing things. They charge you extra for services that are normally included in basic fees anywhere else. And as for the other website where the salon has 5 stars, if you look at those reviews they were mostly done between February 12th and the end of February, which is about two weeks after the one star review that was left by another costumer on January on this website. He must have had his own employees write those reviews or he may be offering some type of discount or incentive for costumers to leave false 5 stars reviews. Go somewhere else and make sure you do report him if he has anyone do your hair that has no certification on hair treatments! If they are only certified to cut hair they should not touch your hair for anything else as they do not know what they are doing and will only mess your hair up while they practice with your hair, and make you pay for it! Make sure you also dispute those charges if they do not deliver what they promised you. Save your hair, save yourself from having a bad day, and spend your money somewhere else where you are provided the services you pay for, and you are treated with respect, professionalism, and honesty!

Amazing:)

I went in to get a cut, color, and tape in extensions. I had a horrible hair dye from a suppose to be good salon. Jennifer was the first person to see what I meant by my hair being damaged out of 7 salons. She was great, when she did the color and cut I didn't need the extensions any more but my hair is amazing. There prices were way cheaper than any other place, also the only ones that do tape in. Go in ask for jen

Big disappointment. First of all the salon is overpriced for the atmosphere and quality of service. For most women getting a haircut is a treat or self-care. Save your money and go somewhere else. For 40+ dollars for a haircut you can do much better! So let me get specific, first of all the stylist stated that she was going to flat-iron my hair then informed me at the time of check out that she was charging me an extra $10 for the service of flat ironing (which based on every other haircut I have ever received is part of the 'styling" fee that the haircut covers) furthermore she neglected to mention the additional fee before stating she would be ironing my hair...Furthermore I was extremely unsatisfied with the cut she gave me, way to short and choppy nothing like the photo I brought as a reference. The staff was also unresponsive and the salon was a bit dingy...but what can you expect from a salon that is located next to a gas station and a mini-mart? My suggestion? Head over to New Town where you can get a quality cut in a much nicer environment.
