I am disappointed sorry to say. When we arrived we were told no large breakfast until the weekend. Well, we choose bed AND breakfast for a reason. They have weak coffee. They have toast and cereal. Whoopie. Now here comes the weekend. I smell good food cooking. Bad cause our room must be right over the kitchen. We get up, go down about an hour after we figure they have everything set up and BAM! All the food is gone. "Oh we served it very early for a group going out on the trails." But wait! I was told you'd cook me something, a waffle, some gravy and biscuits. "Sorry, all the food is gone." So more weak coffee and more toast today for the 3rd day. I sit the trash can out side the door. Come back 10 hours later and it still sitting there full. Go to look for bath soap, none. Toilet paper, none. Asked to turn the ac up cause it is freezing. Nope. They said most people love it this cold. I run into another couple out at a park that staying here too. They said what did I think about not getting any breakfast. See, they came down 15 minutes later than us. We all just laughed. What can one say. If you want a cool room, no soap or toilet paper, you're welcome to stay here!

Thank you for your input. As a new business, we need feedback to make our inn the best that it can be. Now, that said, I'd like to address each of these concerns. As for the air conditioning, we did take you concern seriously when you voiced it and increased the temperature on the unit. I apologize if it wasn't enough. We did do breakfast earlier than usual that Saturday morning so that several of our guests who were taking an earlier-than-usual tour of the Hatfield-McCoy sites could eat before they left. The next morning, however, we served breakfast later. As for the lack of toilet paper, we stress to our staff that they are to stock each room with at least two brand new rolls of toilet paper. There is also a shelf in the hallway stocked with extra towels, blankets, toilet paper, etc. so our guests can grab what they need when they need it. We apologize for overlooking the trash. I have instructed our staff to make several passes by the rooms so that this oversight never occurs again. Weak coffee is easily remedied by adding another scoop to the pot. All of these problems are correctable by simply bringing them to our attention and we have done so. We do have toiletries available upon request. For the record, we have never listed our inn as a bed and breakfast. We refer to ourselves as a lodging facility and our web site clearly states that we serve continental breakfast Monday through Friday. It is never our intention to mislead our guests and if you were mislead, we are truly sorry.
