I'm not from South Carolina so had to do most of this deal sight unseen. The guys at Porter's did a great job communicating and answering all my questions, no matter how tedious. Flew in from Florida and they had the 07 American Eagle pusher I was buying ready to roll. Immediately took it to Gulf Shores for a festival I was working at and was way better than staying in a hotel like I had been for the last few years.

Was skeptical at first to buy an RV sight unseen from all the way on the other side of the country, but glad I did. Flew in and picked up my A Class with no hiccups. Was exactly as described and they even showed me how everything worked prior to leaving. I'm used to paying extra for that!

Traded in my old gas RV here for a really nice looking fifth wheel. This is much better suited for what my wife and I were wanting. Drove all the way from PA to SC in one straight shot, picked up the fifth wheel, and drove straight back. Well worth it though.

We've been dealing with Porter's on three motorhomes now and they always treat us right. Once we moved up to an A Class diesel pusher we really started hitting the road. We'll probably be back in a few years to upgrade, but for now you can find us by the lake.

We wanted to get an RV to take our grandkids camping. Porter's RV had one that was much cheaper than buying new and also had bunk beds. We've used it quite a lot over the past year with no issues. Might upgrade to a bigger one soon guys!

I've bought 2 rvs from Porter's over the past 5 years. Started with a travel trailer. Had intentions of trading it in on a bigger bus, but ended up getting a deal on an A class that allowed me to keep both. Smooth and easy both times. Thanks fellas.

Great experience with these guys. Purchased a diesel, took it tailgating the next weekend, and enjoyed it all year.

Had been wanting to move up to a diesel bus for years. Porter's gave me a fair trade in price on my old camper, good enough to make the move up to a nice driving RV I'd had my eye on. It's treated me really well so far. They helped me find the right tow system for my Jeep too.

I flew in from Arizona to pick up a pre-owned super-C I saw on RVTrader. The team at Porter's made the transaction easy and had me back on the road within a few hours headed home. Looked just like it did in pictures if not better!

Nice folks here with a low pressure attitude. They allowed us to walk around a dozen or so motorhomes and try to find out exactly what we wanted. A lot of clean RVs.

Bought a used diesel pusher at a great price. Had looked for months and was able to find one at Porter's.

Buyer beware. Hire your own RV service/inspector to go over before you buy from this place. Many repairs made by taping, caulking, and spray painting broken and leaking items. Promised reimbursement but they only want to give you pennies on the dollar. Had close to $11,500 in repairs to the RV to even use it. Started falling apart the first 10 miles down the road toward our home after purchasing. Wish I would’ve seen all the poor reviews beforehand. Lucky people who ended up with the decent rvs.

I just drove from upstate NY to purchase a Winnebago journey and I must say the overall experience from start to finish was excellent.
Blair, Sheila, Sandy, Leroy, Chase and my favorite of all was Tim made this purchase a pleasure. I will say that anyone in the market for a RV should give them a look. I will recommend them to my friends and family even if it is a 14 hour ride it was worth ever minute Happy campers here in NY

Severe problem between owner/owner's son and manager as to how how customer service should be addressed. We were sold a bus that once it was taken on a road test trip, it was discovered that the bus had contaminated fuel system. It was "flushed and cleaned" and delivered to us in Georgia where it still had a fuel system problem that their "insurance" would not cover. It cost me over $5000 to get it back to running condition and after trying to call, my calls are not returned and are ignored. The manager had told me that if it were up to him, he would have paid to fix it but the owner's son didn't want to have to do that. I know you have to show a profit but you also have to make your customer happy somehow. We have a bus we do not trust now and are hesitant to use. Very poor business sense.

After a bit of driving and backing up and driving and backing up, I finally found Porters. Very poor signs. I pulled into the back (first area found). Danny, I'm thinking a mechanic, was very nice and friendly and told me to go around to the front. When I went into the office, 3 employees were talking to each other and barely acknowledged my presence. Another girl came out and told me to take a cart and go look at the fifth wheelers. After, I found 2 I was quite interested in and wanted to talk with someone about some questions. I went back into the office. A male employee at a desk looked up, acknowledged me with a nod and kept talking to another employee. I waited for a few minutes but was never acknowledged again. Sad. I left. Lost a sale. I am ready to purchase. I'll find someone who has better customer service BEFORE the sale so I can be better assured of good customer service AFTER the sale. If I were you're boss, sir, you'd be fired! Just saying! Linda
