Extremely rude. Unprofessional. Save your money for people that will actually treat you with kindness. Products are subpar at best.

So Unfortunate

Daughter moving into area, found this store with such an array of stuff to choose from. Needed a headboard first...found one that would match perfectly...thought a little high in price but like to support local businesses. It was marked as a Full/Queen, needed full. Ask if they sell hardware for it, no. Ok I'll get at hardware store. Purchase and load, realize it will need threaded bolts, point this out to Gentleman, because now I need exact size of bolt. He goes through a pile of hardware until he finds one that will fit, to long but correct diameter. He gives it to me to use at the hardware store. Ok, now have hardware. Go to install to frame, holes not even close. It turns out to be King. They do not honor returns or exchanges even when they have it marked wrong! Wouldn't even consider making it right, absolutely all sales final, no exchanges even when they were at fault! Ok, my fault for not measuring, even when I thought it strange to have to keep tailgate down to haul home! Guess I will be drilling new holes for an oversized headboard rather than loose a few hundred dollars...but you know what, shame on them because that was only my first to have been many purchases from them...so really they are the ones that have lost out!!!

We have shopped there several times and sometimes a good deal and sometimes they get you. Recently bout a sheet set with 800 on the front and says Egyptian Cotton. In small print on the back says feels like Egyptian Cotton. They won't let you return anything right or wrong! Beware! Bought bed set there and found them at TJ Max for much less. You expect a bargain because they buy bargains. Not so.

My husband and I are new to the area and have seen the TV ads for Voshel's that make the store seem very appealing, so we made a point of driving up there one Sunday we had off work, only to find that unlike the tv ads which state that Voshel's is open 7 days a week, they are CLOSED on Sundays. :( A wasted trip, especially at the price of gas. But we like to support local business wherever we are and so we decided to make another trip up on the next Saturday we had off. Walking inside we were bombarded by dozens of signs reading "all sales final", "no refunds" and handwritten on these signs was "no cheaper prices". Since Voshel's is a discount store I wasn't surprised at the no refunds, all sales final policy, and I figured that the no cheaper prices thing was to discourage customers from trying to haggle with staff. I did think this was a little odd, though because everyone that I've met so far in the MOV have been super nice and don't seem to me, to be the haggling type. Being inside however is very claustrophobic, there are countless beds stacked 5 or 6 deep so that you can't even look at the headboards without help from staff. But the worst was the prices. So high! Now the handwriting on the signs was starting to make sense. For example there was a Rachael Ray pot that was scratched up and its lid's handle was loose, was priced at $50! Brand new this same pot sells for $60. Another example was a pet bed, also marked at $50, but you can get this exact bed from PetCo for $35, and online for $20. So our 2nd trip was also a waste of time and gas!

So many unique items

I love stopping in every weekend just to see what new things they have in! My house is completely furnished in voshels. The people working are always so happy to help, and are always in a good mood. Every time I go in they're always so helpful and nice.

Disappointed Customer

Ever since I happened by Voshel's auction house store, I have always enjoyed stopping in to look and purchase furniture items from their business; however, after visiting the store Saturday I don't advise anyone going to Voshel's for a single item. My wife and I went there to purchase a few items for our home and the owner basically yelled us for trying to take a picture (for the purpose of getting a friend's opinion about the item). Then, The owner rudely told us "that she makes the rules and that if we didn't like it that she would sell the business to us and then we could make the rules." I was not a business major in school, but I'm pretty sure one of the first rule of business that you always make sure your customers are satisfied. The owner of Voshel's apparently missed this lesson. She did a horrible job of making customers feel welcome in her store. If you are thinking of going to Voshel's for furniture, I would recommend against it.
