I was a patient of Dr Magill for over 6 months and do not have a single good thing to say about my experience.

She changed one of my medications, and I almost immediately started having awful night sweats. I was only getting 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night and I was miserable. I brought this concern to Dr Magill on numerous occasions and she just kept telling me that it wasn't a side effect of anything she had me on. I asked another specialist about it, she changed my dose, and my sweats stopped and I could sleep again. It took that doctor 2 minutes to figure out what Dr Magill couldn't figure out, or didn't care to, for 2 months.

At first, dealing with calling her office and leaving messages with her answering service was a giant pain. Then, she upgraded her system to a portal that you could use online. Great, right? Not so much. I would ask for a change in RX, she would email me back and tell me she sent it in to my pharmacy. I would check the pharmacy... and nothing was called in. I try emailing a week later. Again, she tells me that it was sent in. For a second time, it wasn't. After week three of not getting anything done, I gave up. I couldn't do it anymore.

She put me on a drug my insurance wouldn't cover, so I kept getting samples from her office. I told her I didn't like having to depend on the drug rep to keep me stocked and maybe we should try another drug. She disagreed. Two months later, the drug rep disappears and she doesn't have the right dose for me. She gives me all she has left -- 80 mg pills instead of 40 mg pills -- and then asks me to split them. This is something that just weeks earlier she explicitly told me not to do with this medication. So before, I should absolutely not do it, but now it's OK. "Better than nothing" she says. Are you kidding me?

The wait in her office is always super-long. Sometimes I'd wait as long as 45 minutes.

Find another doctor. Find ANY other doctor.
