Established in 1976, Erie Community College is a two-year educational institute, serving Erie County and the surrounding communities of western New York. The college enrolls more than 11,000 students and offers more than 60 accredited associate degrees and certificate programs, noncredit courses and training programs. The programs offered by the college include associate of arts, associate of science, associate of applied science, public service, liberal arts, and engineering and technologies. Erie Community College also has library resource center that provides journals, books, online reference resources and distance learning services. It is fully accredited by the Commission on Higher Education, Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the New York State Board of Regents. It is located in Buffalo, N.Y.
