Open Door Nursery School is a hidden treasure among preschools in the area. Unlike typical chain-centers, Open Door is a unique traditional preschool that prepares children for a love of life-long learning. The teachers are all certified and especially nurturing, treating each child as an individual. My son has had an exceptional experience there. He especially loves the daily gym and walks to Garrison Park, one block away, and the Williamsville branch library. The art projects are fantastic - my son's class made a giant Mayflower boat out of cardboard and the kids hopped in to "sail". The children's concerts have melted my heart and extended family who have attended couldn't brag enough. There have been so many special moments. Most importantly, my son loves school and he is ready and excited for kindergarten next year.
