Natchaug Elementary School has been granted accreditation and full membership in the New England Association of Schools and Colleges in Connecticut. It is a professional school with the University of Connecticut Neag School of Education, as well as the home of an after-school tutoring program that is staffed by the students of the University of Connecticut. The school has partnerships with Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic Public Library, and Big Brother/Big Sister Program.
